Thanks to a “keyless” lock system the user can unlock the vehicle without using the mechanical key. After having unlocked the vehicle the user needs to rotate the keyless knob in order to enable the following features: saddle open, power on, power off, and steering tube/handlebar tube lock.

The user can choose the preferred riding mode by following two simple steps: short press of the MAP button while holding the left brake level (riding icons will start to flash); long press on the preferred riding mode.

Piaggio 1 has 3 different riding modes:

• ECO, with speed limited at 30 km/h

• SPORT, with speed up to 45 km/h in Piaggio 1 and Piaggio 1+ versions and 60 km/h as per Piaggio 1 Active.

• REVERSE, which can help the user during parking operations.

Functionality

The Piaggio 1 is equipped with a full LED lighting system. The head lamp is composed by 2 LED optical units: Low Beam and High Beam. City light and low beam will always be “on” together giving an extremely effective lightening experience.

The position and stop light are composed by 24 LED modules that gives to Piaggio 1 a very effective and safe attitude.

The under seat storage is deep enough to host a full jet helmet along with other personal stuff. The saddle height does not exceed 770 mm, this makes easy to handle Piaggio 1 during traffic stops and parking operation. Waterproof USB plug under the handlebar.

Piaggio 1 comes in dual range of colours: Forever Grey, Forever White and Forever Black are the three most sombre colour schemes which highlight the minimalist and clean design, whereas Sunshine Mix, Arctic Mix and Forest Mix are three two-tone liveries that enhance its youthful and fresh spirit. In the Mix colour schemes, the saddle has seating characterised by a grey covering that creates more of a contrast with the glossy black side inserts.

Feng chen wang collaboration

Feng Chen Wang is a Chinese-born, London-based designer at the forefront of a new generation of fashion talent emerging from China. She describes her design aesthetic as “future-modern, authentic, and multidimensional.”

Agile, light, essential and practical, Piaggio 1 revolutionizes the e-scooter concept with a captivating design and real attention to detail. The Feng Chen Wang special edition stands out for its exclusive livery, in which the designer blends the Chinese tradition with vibrant London creativity.

The watercolor visually combines the natural elements of water and the symbol of the Phoenix that, in Chinese mythology, represents virtue and grace. It is hand-painted using the traditional Chinese brush stroke technique, while the green color, also used on the seat upholstery and the rims, does not only reflect the indigenous flora, but also universal values such as health, prosperity, and harmony.

The collaboration with Feng Chen Wang has also led to a dedicated helmet and a capsule collection of unisex streetwear garments. The fashion collection remodels tradition to make it special and contemporary. Original and surprising garments in which the overlapping of recycled materials is also symbolic of the significant attention Feng pays to the themes of sustainability, the respecting of nature and creative recovery.
